Was thinking on the GDL, most people will be minimum 21 and perhaps with gap years and other studying etc thrown in I wouldnt be too old...wishful thinking?!
Also am I right in thinking that I will be amongst the majority, rather than the minority in not having a TC when I start the GDL?
Final question (sorry), I gather from various discussion forums that I can apply for TC's whilst doing the GDL or the LPC? However, when Ive looked on firms websites they seem to suggest you apply either before doing either GDL or LPC or on completion of both? Im confused! If I complete the GDL and manage to get a TC would they still sponsor the LPC?

Many people on the GLD and even the LPC don't have a TC yet, so your not the only one.
Most major law firms offer to pay GDL/LPC fees, provided you applied and got an offer before starting the course. Most don't pay retrospectively. So if you have already started your GDL without a TC, but then get one before commencing the LPC, they will pay those fees. Remember the firms that offer sponsorship may want you to do your LPC at particular providers, i.e. BPP, CoL, etc. So enquire beforehand.
