Definitely elaborate more.
The above letter is an excellent basic template, but for each application you should research the firm and use that research to explain why you want to work for them.
The couple of lines about the Chambers Guide should be a paragraph about the firm's main areas/competencies and how your experience and aspirations relate to them.
Also don't forget any previous office experience (IT, typing, MS Office, filing, et cetera)
