Billing targets
can anyone explain how billing targets work in practice?
And realistically how many hours of billing can a thriving hight street private client practice set itself/staff per day?

I think once you are qualified you are expected to get between 50 and 60 units a day.
1 unit = 6 mins.

would agree with the above ours is about 5.5 hours which isnt' too bad once u know what ur doing and are more comfortable in the job.

My firm don't have a minimum billing target as such but the bonus scheme kicks in at various hour levels.
