Ahh I have a friend or two in that group...
Have you done the online assessment exercises? I need to brush up on my contract law, I stopped it after the first 2 questions!
I did afternoon large groups and morning small groups this past year...I guess they split us into the CoCo or Commercial/Priv and then time preferences...to be honest we are going to be on campus some days all day... I'd rather get up early then have the day to myself...

That's why I choose morning workshops as there aren't any lectures per se on the LPC only i-tutorials.

I have no idea what to expect. I know we will be doing practical tasks like filling out paperwork etc. but I have no idea what classes I'll be in, or when we choose electives...

You can choose your electives now if you want online via the secured student area from the main CoL website. But in fact the deadline is early November.

They are all on the CoL website, accessible from the 'What you will study' page - you just need to burrow down into each of the sections from the menus on the left hand side
http://www.college-of-law.co.uk/prospec ... 1-434.html
but from what I can remember they are
Solicitors a/cs
Company a/cs
Client care
Conveyancing
Wills & Probate inc IHT

All very boring really when you are a Legal Executive and have been "doing the job" involving all of the above for 10+ years but needs must to get Solicitors qualification too.
