If you want to qualify in Canada, be prepared for the grind. You have to submit your degree results and and details of work experience to the National Committee on Accreditation (at the Uni of Ottawa). They'll also make you do a Canadian LLB, or alternatively they may allow you to sit some equivalency exams. After than, you sit a bar exam and apply for jobs.

Lots of English-qualified lawyers make it in Canada, but it costs them in money and time. Also, if you have the CPE you won't be at an advantage--Canadian lawyers have no respect for it.

I understand that Australia is the easiest out of the three. I have a friend over there who after completing the GDL and LPC only has to take a module in Australian Constitutional law.
