Default CoL Notes Swap Shop

Hi all,

Mocks are coming up so just wondered if anyone fancied trading notes for comparison purposes.

I have full notes on Revenue and Partnership and notes on Company Procedure to trade if anyone is interested.

I am at Guidlford, but studying part time so that probably explains why i haven't had them yet.

How did the mocks go for you?

Ah right. Pretty badly to be honest. I didn't really do a lot of revision as find it hard to motivate myself for things that don't count! Main thing is finding enough time to answer everything! I ran out of it in 2 out of 3!

Hi Ashleigh,

When are your mocks? I have mock at the beginning of Dec. I have partnership notes typed up and a few notes on comapanies. Are you treating the CA 2006 as if it is in effect in full? Let me know if you're interested in swapping.

M

Hi Monica,

I have my mocks this weekend coming. I would be interested in swapping, pm me your email address.

At CoL we are treating the CA 2006 as partly in force, that is all that has been brought into effect up to the date of the exams in Jan is being treated as in force...makes it all a bit complicated but I believe they will be providing us with a breakdown of what is being treated as in force nearer to the exams.

Are you at CoL?

A

Hi Ashleigh

I'm at CoL too. We've been told to treat all the dates as they really are with the exception of directors duties, where we've been told to act as if the 2006 Act is in force. There's also a list in the front of the Business Law Textbook which states which parts are in force and which aren't. It's possible that you'll be doing the same thing.

Have CoL Civil Litigation notes that follow the workshops (i.e on standard disclosure documents in Roberts v Scramblers)

Anybody want to swap with me for these then pm me. i'll swap for any notes.

Regarding CA 2006 we're following enactment dates as well - note that s29 and s30 CA 2006 has come in force early - its taken the tutors by surprise!
