CPS Assessment Day

Can anyone give me some advice as to what to expect on my forthcoming CPS assessment day please?? Never been on one and so a little nervous!

Hey I have one coming up too! Jus another question how is the cps recruitment carried out? Is everyone invited to complete a vrt and if they pass an assessment day regardless of their initial application?

Not everyone but most go to the VRT stage and then those that passed carry on to the assessment day (still no idea what that involves...) and then interviews the month after that...

i posted something on this a while ago-cant be bothered to look through posts but i gave a long description of what the day entailed. Have a browse through and see. I am a very interesting person so you will not be dissappointed lol!!!

I got through to the VRT and now been invited to assessment day. I am too pleased!. Well done to others who got through. They have'nt got back to me about the date for the assessment centre. I also wonder what its going to be like. I have read some of the posts from previous years. It looks like I will have to revise crim' and advocacy skills. I am not going to wind myself up about it. If I do feel nervous on the day, I will feel the fear and do it anyway
