Default help: Funding

Having started on my lpc thinking i had funding secured I get the huge bombshell from the oh so clever bank!

Yep they fluffed up( no I haven't been refused). I went as soon as I had my place secured on the course which was not until August. They said the loan should be sorted in a couple of weeks. My first payment was due on 30/09 but I am still waiting. I am due to pay my fees on the 8th November but as of yet I am still waiting. I rang the bank and am currently waiting for them to ring back.

I have no idea what to do if the money does not come through. I don't want to be kicked off the course or have my results withheld.

Any suggestions?

Have you told your LPC provider or did you go into arrears without contacting them?

If you haven't spoken to them, tell them the situation as soon as possible.

Definitely tell your LPC provider asap - I went to the College of Law and they charge £100 admin fee for late payment of fees. They may waive this if they tell you soon enough? Also don't wait for the Bank to call you- keep calling them to find out what has happened. Good luck.
