Any Open University Graduates in this Forum?
Hi everyone
I just graduated in law from the OU (LLB(Hons). You can imagine how hard it is working full-time and studying part-time(....well, actually full time, because I completed up to 120 units in the same year, equivalent to full-time study). However, I managed to get an Upper Second Class Degree.
I am getting prepared for the TC "hunt", but my main concern is that I have never done any legal work.
I have worked as an interpreter for two years and I am a Member of the Institute of Linguists in London. Also I will start my LPC next August in London (part-time evening). I speak two languages, Albanian(mother-tongue) and Italian (fluent) and I also have a BS in Chemistry from my previous studies.
During my studies I did an Employment Law Course, a Computing Course and I obtained a Certificate in Humanities.
Could anyone suggest which firms would be the most appropriate to apply to? (Obviously that would be firms which practice Employment Law and maybe Immigration Law, but I am looking for something more specific if you can.)
Any constructive advice would be much appreciated.
Regards
Sokol
