One year traineeship - Training contract, trainee solicitor and law student information and resources

I have been offered a one year traineeship in Scotland. The company cannot commit for genuine reasons to two years. How difficult will it be to get a second year traineeship? Considering the lack of places available throughout the industry for trainees I am keen to take up the offer just to get me started? what do you think?

Think you need to clarify what they mean by "traineeship" given that its only 1 year rather than 2.

I don't think it will be a registered TC. Furthermore, given its in scotland, I would assume that it would not count towards qualifying in England i.e you'd still have to do a 2 year training contract
