I like this post - congratulations all of you.

Conversely, I got that 2:1 but as yet have no TC! I'm resolute that this will not be the case for long - even though I'm a bit late, but thats because I spent the last couple of months in hospital/recovering - more recovering than hospital, don't get too worried, but it was an eye problem so reading/computers have been an issue during that time...

Anyhoo 2:2 success story dude - I would love to take you up on your offer of checking if it still stands?

xx

Hey everyone thanks again for the congratulations. It's nice to hear about other people in my situation finally making it as well, so to everyone that has been lucky enough to get a TC (and that expands to everyone not just those with 2:2's), congratulations as well.

I do agree that in some ways people with a 2:2 have a point to prove so tend to graft that little bit extra. And Percy Pig, I had lots of dark days where I thought I wouldn't make it, but reading sites such as this, combined with my downright stubbornness to get a TC, got me through them.

Rejection Perfection, I would be more than happy to look over your application(s). I must warn you that I cannot guarantee my advice will get you a TC (if I could I think I would be a millionaire by now!) but fresh eyes are always useful. In addition as I don't know you I think my objective view of your application will be similar to Firm's, as sometimes friends/family don't want to criticise applications because they have personal feelings as well.

My email is xmas141@hotmail.com if you want to send me it. (My e-mail address is from when I was about 12 and wasn't the one I put on my applications before anyone asks!)

I like your sharing, thank you. I think it gives all with 2:2s something to look up to & see that it doesn't mean there's no hope as long as you work hard enough, plus some luck with people/opportunities you encounter.

Default sounds familiar

That initial post could have been from me.

I wont repeat everything but needless to say it wasnt easy to secure a tc but i have by joining a firm as a paralegal and working as hard as i could.

Ive done this with dyslexia and long term social anxeity disorder.

So if i can do this it can be done, just be prepared to work at it.
