My Boss Was Fired, Now What?

I work for a large internation firm and started my training a few months ago. My office is in Europe and I was being trained under the only UK licensed solicitor at the firm. He was fired a few months ago and I just found out that now my training contract is in jeopardy of completing because they're unable to find someone else to take his place.

Is this possible? Does anyone know what options I have? I will be happy to provide more information if needed. What do you folks think of my situation? Am I doomed?

Saying that you're doomed is probably a bit strong. At worst you would have to come back to the UK and not train in Europe.

I would speak to the law society to see what their regulations about supervising trainees are.
