Default Has anyone managed to fail Business exam of the PSC course with Kaplan Altior?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone managed to fail Business exam of the PSC course with Kaplan Altior? I know this may sound silly but most of the candidates felt they had not done enough but what worried me was the fact that there were quite a few people re-taking it. Personally I have done enough but listening to the other I started panicking. I am due to qualify in March and I don't really to postpone the qualification, let alone paying again for the retake.

Your coments will much appreciated!

Cheers

yeah I failed it first time round! I did not understand all this COB and regulated and specified activity stuff. And what the hell all that advising on the different investments was all about I do not know.

I was very pissed off that we had to do that exam, it reminded me of the LPC where the bulk of the course was based on BLP. You then go on to do the PSC where AGAIN you are forced to do this business stuff which has no relevance if you are working in legal aid. So annoying.

Did you like Kaplan? I was not impressed with them to be honest.

But you should be fine, I'm a real moron when it comes to all that business stuff so was not surprised when I failed! Don't stress mate, just make sure your book thing is all flagged up nicely and you should be okay. If you do fail then I do not think it will affect your qualifying in March. I re-sat the exam about a week or two later so you do not need to wait ages to do it agian

Good luck!

PS: I was a bit naughty and did not tell my principal I had failed (well, he was on holiday at the time and by the time he had come back I had found out I had failed, re-booked it, re-sat the exam and passed ha, ha! I had to pay £75 to do the exam again)

it's just £75 to re-sit the business exam but I think if you fail it 3 times you have to do the whole course again?
