Default De Montfort University lpc

Hi, I graduated from Leicester University, last year and got a 1st, I wanted to take a year out because I needed legal work experience. So this year I have been spending training to be a CAB advisor, as this will give me good skills and increase my confidence when dealing with clients etc. Anyway I have been accepted into three law schools Birmingham college of law, Nottingham and De monfort university. At first I was thinking of going to Birmingham because of the reputation however I am now thinking of staying in Leicester because of the cost and the fact it will be easier for me to carry on volunteering next year at the CAB. So my question really was has anyone else studied at De monfort for the LPC and was the quality of support/teaching good?

Hi,

I know my response might be a bit late but I'd thoroughly recommend the LPC at DMU. The staff are all very experienced and the support network is excellent. The last grades given were all top (highly commended is it?) but the downfall just now is the building. That's something I, and not you, have to worry about because the new spanking all-singing, all-dancing building opens in September. I'd recommend coming along for an open day. The low fee wouldn't be worth it if the standard of teaching was crap but it's definitely not. If you have any specific questions let me know your email address and I'll happily answer them.
