FOR SALE: LPC Notes and Checklists
Hi all,
I am a LPC graduate who attained a distincion. I am selling my notes as I prepared fully and comprehensively for the exams and modules by preparing these notes which I believe helped be attain my grade. The most important thing you can have in your folder is a full and comprhensive set of notes. They won't guarantee a pass but they help one hell of a lot!
I have notes for:
Business Law and Property
The notes cover company, partnership, insolvency, employment issues, conducy and competition law. They also include a company procedure plan detailing step by step the procedure eg. Board Meeting 1 and 2, General Meeting. The notes also come with a grid detailing many possisble problems you may encounter such as changing a name and what is required. The plan and grid are used in conjunction to complete your answer.
Property Law and Practice
The property notes follow the conveyancing procedure step by step through each stage of a conveyancing transaction.
Civil Litigation
The Civil litigation notes are very detailed and follow the litigation process through each stage.
Crimial Litigation
Like Civil they are very detailed and follow the litigation process from start to finish.
Revenue and Tax
My tax notes only include Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Coporation Tax. They DON'T include Incime tax as the law on Income Tax change the year I took the course so we only did the old system which are now outdated.
Commercial Law
They take each topic and go into detail about the subject, they cover; Agency, Copyright, Design Rights, Clauses to look for in a Agency agreement, International Sales, Distribution agreements, Exclusion of Liability, IP rights, Passing Off, Patents, Retention of Title, Terms of a Sale of Goods Contract, Trade Marks, Typical Exclusion Clauses to look out for and my notes that related to my advanced reading.
Advanced Property Law
The Advanced Property Law or Commercial Property follow the commercial conveyancing transaction from start to finish and again take a step by step procedure.
Employment Law
The Employment Law notes cover; Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures, Discrimination, Redundancy, TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings), Unfair Dismissal and Wrongful Dismissal.
Commercial Dispute Resolution/Advanced Dispute Resolution
The CDR notes cover each topic in detail; General Intro to CDR, Jurisdiction, Injuctions and Interim Probitory Injunctions, Freezing Injunctions and Search Orders, Security for Costs and Reovery of Debt Orders, Disclosure and Expert Evidence, Case Management and Preparation for Trial, Arbitration, Mediation and Settlement and finally Part 20 Claims against 3rd Parties.
These notes helped me pass my LPC and get a distinction, I would have been happy with just a pass but a distinction was a major bonus. These notes aren't guaranteed to get you a pass, nothing is a substitute for proper preparation.
