PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL Manchester. Personal Injury Paralegal required by private practice based in Manchester to manage a caseload of Personal Injury and RTA files. Working in a team environment you will be required to work efficiently and to tight deadlines, IT literacy skills essential. Experience will include previous exposure to claims handling either in a practice or insurance environment. This practice is synonymous with its litigation practice and employs a larger number of legal professionals to undertake a high volume of pre litigated cases which are managed up to hearing/action as well as advocacy and court attendance. Professionals who are qualified solicitors, legal executives and paralegals all work in the same department servicing a vast national and international client base. Candidates will be involved in undertaking client interviews, gathering medical reports from professionals such as Doctors, Dentists and Surgeons assessing evidence prior to deciding on how to proceed with each file. Good technical knowledge of personal injury law combined with the ability to draft legal documents and letters. Salary dependant upon experience. Candidates will have previous experience of insurance litigation and in particular road traffic accidents assisting injured parties. You will also negotiate with defendant insurers to agree settlement where possible. Salary from £16 to 21k depending upon experience.
