POSITION PROFILE
Under the direction of the Regional Litigation Support Manager, this position is responsible for managing imaging, coding and electronic data discovery projects.The project manager plans, schedules, and controls activities to fulfill objectives by applying technical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements. The project manager coordinates and integrates team and individual efforts and builds positive professional relationships with clients and associates.The Project Manager is ultimately responsible to the company for the client satisfaction of their projects.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direction and schedules for all work on projects required to meet client requirements.
Develops and maintains a system to support project decisions.
Maintains control of projects while fostering and developing a team environment.
Resolves differences in opinion among stakeholders.
Anticipates and mitigates project risks.
Creates project documentation: Scanning Instructions, Coding Manuals, EDD processing instructions, Technical Specifications, Decision Logs, and other related materials.
Plans and leads project meetings.
Documents project progress and communicates internally and externally on an ad-hoc and scheduled basis as required.
Formalizes all project communications, instructions and change orders.
Responsible for managing the relationship and projects that are outsourced to authorized coding and EDD vendors.
Meets with internal and external clients for project planning and updates.
Responsible for coordinating the shipment of images and the return of coded data between LDS and authorized coding vendors.
Responsible for performing quality control reviews of coded data that is returned from outsourced coding vendors prior to releasing work product to LDS clients.
Responsible for reviewing and authorizing coding vendor invoices and resolving billing difficulties with authorized business partners
Responsible for resolving issues and questions between the Digital Support Group, Coding Partners, operations and clients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS(Education, Experience and Certifications)
Requires 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience: or 5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office Desktop.
Paralegal certification or work experience or familiarity documents and electronic information and its use within the litigation process.
One to three years of production experience is preferred.
