Corporate IP Paralegal - London City (full time)
< b The Firm< /b
My client is a highly regarded law firm in London in search of a paralegal to particular focus on < u Global Projects, Corporate and IP< /u to assist in delivering a quality service to clients in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This is a permanent position and candidates must have excellent academics with attention to detail and ability to perform high quality and accurate work.
< b The Role< /b
You will assist the < u Global Projects / Corporate< /u department with due diligence and carrying out company searches. You will be expected to perform high quality and accurate work and a€ preparing disclosures at lawyera€ s direction. Candidates must assist in pre-closing, closing and post-closing arrangements.
The < u arbitration / IP and Commercial Litigation< /u will require you to be responsible for client document databases and Intranets where you will assist in depositions preparing case summaries, correspondence and memoranda. You will be expected to scheduling answer, discovery, hearing and trial dates.
< b The Candidate< /b
You must be a team player with the ability to interact professionally with clients, lawyers and other employees at all levels. In some cases you will be required to travel to the firms international offices and in some cases their clients offices.
Lastly, candidates must be intelligent, committed, enthusiastic, have an understanding of urgency, pro-active, assertive and a a€ can-doa€ attitude.
