We currently have 6,000 IT consultants on assignments primarily with Fortune 500 clients. In addition, we place over 2,200 IT professionals permanently. We provide full IT recruitment services across all disciplines and technologies and throughout all industries. We offer a variety of approaches to recruiting and managing IT professionals on clients' behalf including contract and permanent recruitment, managed services and training solutions. Our largest recruitment process outsourcing client represents 100 million in revenue over five years. We have half a dozen clients currently in this space, which is one of the fastest growing markets. An exciting opportunity now exists for a Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join Elans in-house legal team in their new offices in Farringdon. The main responsibilities of this role include providing legal and administrative support to the Head of Legal and the in-house lawyers including: Admin Wholly responsible for general legal secretarial and administrative support Answering telephone calls: liaising with external and internal clients, dealing with queries and relaying messages. Maintaining paper and electronic filing systems, including archiving files Diary management: arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms, organising lunches and preparing meeting materials and ppt presentations Legal Tasks Assisting the in-house lawyers with the review, negotiation and execution of client and contractor agreements Managing the development and adaption of template contracts across many jurisdictions (including on-line terms and conditions) Assisting with litigation matters. Experience of small claims, the litigation process and preparing cases for trials is preferred - ongoing training will be provided Legal research You will possess Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role IT skills: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, ability to learn new skills eg internally developed software and databases A very high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise work independently and deliver to tight deadlines. The ability to work well within a team environment Typing speed c.50wpm The preferred candidate will be a motivated, productive individual who can work as part of a team and independently as required has a positive attitude towards coping with the challenges and heavy workload of this demanding yet rewarding role within a close knit, fun team Location: London
