Job Title: Case Coordinator Temporary Duration: 3-6 months Temporary to Hire terms: 1st Day Start Time: 8:30 Hours: 8:00-4:30 Lunch: 1hour Job Description/Requirements: POSITION CONTRIBUTION: The Case Coordinator position contributes to the case management process. The position is responsible for the review and coding of all legal documents received in relation to projects that are being supported. The position is also responsible for client contact and customer support responsibilities. Functional/Technical Responsibilities: Review, categorize and process legal documents, entering and updating information in databases and systems. Understand and accurately follow different processes based on project parameters. Monitor and process incoming documents from an electronic work queue. Maintain productivity standards to meet client specified turnaround times. Meet or exceed quality guidelines established for this position. Monitor and support client case management activity by coding documents (ie trial dockets, complaints, answers, interrogatories, pleadings, etc.) Proactively identify and resolve concerns, raising issues to management upon identification for clarification. Respond to client inquiries or issues as needed. Act as the first line of technical support for clients when necessary. Work closely with other departments as necessary. Perform legal research where necessary. Assist with special projects as assigned. Assist I.T. with testing new software applications and hardware. JOB CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Education Paralegal certification or equivalent legal experience is required. Experience 2-3 years experience in legal profession or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and searching on the Internet. Strong experience working with databases with knowledge of database structure, interface and functionality. Experience with client contact or customer service is required.
